Fiona Gale sydd wedi dewis y daith nesaf.\u00a0 Ni chafodd Fiona ei geni yng ngogledd Cymru, ond mae hi wedi byw yma ers 1985 a bu hi\u2019n ddigon ffodus i weithio\u2019n lleol yn y maes archeoleg o 1988.\u00a0 Ym 1996, daeth yn archeolegydd sir ar gyfer Sir Ddinbych.\u00a0 Gan weithio yn y Gwasanaeth Cefn Gwlad gyda gr\u0175p o bobl wych ac ymrwymgar, datblygodd Fiona brosiectau archeolegol ar draws yr ardal.\u00a0 Ers ymddeol yn 2018, mae hi wedi parhau i ymwneud ag archeoleg fel Ymddiriedolwr sefydliadau lleol, rhanbarthol a chenedlaethol ac wedi cyfrannu\u2019n helaeth at brosiectau lleol.\u00a0 Mae hyn yn golygu fod Fiona a minnau wedi dod i adnabod yr ardal yn dda\u2026 ac mae Fiona\u2019n dal i fwynhau crwydro\u2019r bryniau a\u2019r dyffrynnoedd sydd nid yn unig yn hyfryd ond hefyd yn frith o nodweddion archeolegol a hanesyddol.<\/p>\n
\u201cAm dros ugain mlynedd, bues yn ddigon ffodus i weithio ar draws Sir Ddinbych a Bryniau Clwyd a Dyffryn Dyfrdwy yn dysgu am hanes ac archeoleg yr ardal a gobeithiaf fy mod wedi rhannu fy niddordeb a\u2019m hangerdd gyda phobl eraill.\u00a0 Dros y cyfnod hwn, cerddais i bob cwr o\u2019r ardal yn archwilio bryngaerau, cestyll, ardaloedd cloddio plwm a llechi, carneddau cynhanesyddol a bynceri\u2019r ail ryfel byd, yn ogystal \u00e2 Safleoedd Treftadaeth Byd.\u00a0 Mae bob un ohonynt yn wych, ac roedd bron yn amhosibl dewis fy hoff daith.\u00a0 Penderfynais o\u2019r diwedd ar daith ym Mryniau Clwyd, ac yn rhannol ar Lwybr Clawdd Offa. Yn y daith hon, byddwch yn crwydro dwy fryngaer o\u2019r Oes Haearn yn ogystal \u00e2 safleoedd mwyngloddio aur, yn archwilio eu hanes rhyfeddol, yn ymarfer y corff wrth gerdded i fyny\u2019r bryniau ac yn mwynhau\u2019r golygfeydd godidog o\u2019r copaon.<\/p>\n

Dechreuwch ym maes parcio Llangynhafal a cherddwch tua\u2019r gogledd i fyny llwybr Clawdd Offa i gopa Penycloddiau, bryngaer Oes yr Haearn.\u00a0 Yn fan hyn, rwyf bob amser yn cael fy nenu gan ragfuriau\u2019r ochr ddwyreiniol lle bu myfyrwyr Prifysgol Lerpwl yn treulio sawl haf yn cloddio rhan fechan o\u2019r safle, daeth y myfyrwyr o hyd i dystiolaeth bod pobl wedi byw mewn tai ar lethrau\u2019r bryn a chawsant hefyd flas ar waith archeolegol. Wrth ddod yn \u00f4l o amgylch y rhagfuriau i\u2019r gorllewin, gallwch ddychwelyd i lawr ar hyd trac coedwigaeth drwy\u2019r coed conifferaidd\u2026 a gafodd eu plannu yn y cyfnod lle\u2019r oedd ar y wlad angen pyst ar gyfer pyllau.\u00a0\u00a0 Yn \u00f4l drwy\u2019r maes parcio ac ymlaen i lwybr o amgylch Moel Arthur i\u2019r gorllewin, byddwch yn agos iawn at safleoedd mwyngloddio bychain lle bu pobl yn cloddio am aur yn fwy diweddar.\u00a0 Mae aur ym Mryniau Clwyd, ond fel y gwelodd y mwyngloddwyr o\u2019r Oes Fictoria, nid oes digon o aur yma i fod yn werth cloddio amdano.\u00a0 Byddwch yn cerdded heibio sgubor fechan hanner ffordd i lawr yr allt ac yn cyrraedd y ffordd lle gallwch gerdded i faes parcio Moel Arthur, gan ail-ymuno \u00e2 llwybr Clawdd Offa lle gallwch ddringo i fyny tua bryngaer Moel Arthur.\u00a0 Mae arwydd llechen arbennig iawn yn dangos y ffordd i\u2019r fryngaer, cafodd ei greu gan fy ffrind a oedd yn gweithio i\u2019r Gwasanaeth Cefn Gwlad a fu farw\u2019n llawer rhy ifanc.\u00a0 Nid oes gwaith cloddio wedi bod ar fryngaer Moel Arthur ers y 19eg ganrif, ond mae gr\u0175p lleol wedi bod yn gweithio ar y llethrau rhwng y fryngaer a\u2019r llwybr dros y blynyddoedd diwethaf ac wedi darganfod bod bodolaeth pobl yn yr ardal hon yn deillio\u2019n \u00f4l ymhellach nag Oes yr Haearn oddeutu 2500 o flynyddoedd yn \u00f4l.\u00a0 Unwaith y byddwch wedi cyrraedd y copa, gallwch weld golygfeydd godidog o Ddyffryn Clwyd a Sir y Fflint a thu hwnt, gallwch hefyd weld y maes parcio lle dechreuwyd y daith.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
