From heritage railways and nature trails to sports sessions and county‑wide events, North East Wales is full of things to do this Easter. Whether you’re travelling as a family, adventuring outdoors, or simply looking for something new, we have you covered.

  • Easter Bunny Boat Trips: Meet the Easter Bunny aboard Little Star!
  • Over the Easter weekend (3-6 April), the Easter Bunny will be on board our Pontcysyllte Aqueduct trip boat, giving out chocolate treats to children.
  • Trips will depart at 11am, 12 noon, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
  • Little Star (Seren Fach) departs from Trevor Basin, Off Station Road, Trevor, Wrexham, LL20 7TT.
  • Adult tickets are £10 each, children under 16 are £6 each, family tickets are £25 each (2 adults, 2 children).
  • You can book tickets online up to 24 hours in advance. Or buy them on the day, subject to availability. We accept card or cash payments. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the boat trip departs. Book here.
  • Llangollen Railway: Enjoy a steam train ride through the scenic Dee Valley.
  • Llyn Brenig: Explore the visitor centre, adventure playground, and walking trails.
  • SC2 Rhyl: Indoor water park fun if the weather is cold.
