The Legendary Faery Festival

Come along to the glorious Dee valley where the faeries live in the castle on the hill!                    

This is now the largest faery event in the UK calendar. There’s lots to see and do.
FREE wand making, FREE circus skills workshops,  FREE storytelling, FREE acts in the outdoor arena, and FREE live music plus much more. Come and meet the Fairy Bears and their friend, Uncle Unicorn.

You can ride on the vintage funfair or learn a new skill. Tink has gathered hundreds of traders from far and wide to take part in the massive fairy market so you can browse their fantastic wares: jewellery, fabulous fey clothes, faery houses, faery dolls and figurines, candles, steampunk curios, carved wood furniture, faery doors, crystals and much more. Here you can dress like a fairy from head to foot with fabulous gowns, wands, cloaks tiaras, and footwear, not to mention wings and other fairy accessories.

There is also a  ‘Meet The Author’ corner where local, and not-so-local writers will be selling and talking about their books.  Inspired by the literary town of Hay on Wye, our writers’ corner, Way on Hye is a must-visit!

On Saturday evening from 7.00pm, there’s a Grand Faery Ball where anyone over 16 can put on their fairy finery and dance the night away to live music!
