Rhuddlan Gŵledd Food Festival & Craft Fair

Saturday 16 May | 10.00am – 5.00pm
📍 Parliament Street, Parliament Street Car Park & Rhuddlan Community Centre

A friendly food and drink festival featuring local producers, craft stalls and family‑friendly entertainment. Visitors can enjoy a relaxed day browsing, tasting and taking part in activities for children.

Llangollen Garden Railway Festival & Llangollen Fête

Saturday 6 June | 10.00am – 4.30pm
📍 Llangollen Pavilion and grounds

One of the UK’s newest garden railway events, this growing festival brings together large‑scale layouts, traders and specialists from across the country. Held at the Royal International Pavilion, it’s a great day out for families, hobbyists and enthusiasts, while also raising funds for charity.

Llangollen hosts a world‑class programme of music and culture this summer, combining headline concerts with the internationally renowned Musical Eisteddfod.

Top of Town Festival, Ruthin

Saturday 4 July 2026 | 12.00pm – 11.30pm
📍 St Peter’s Square

A lively celebration of music and culture in Ruthin’s historic town centre. Enjoy live performances on the square throughout the day, followed by evening music in pubs and hospitality venues across the town.

Llangollen & Corwen Railway Classic Transport Weekend

Saturday 4 – Sunday 5 July
📍 Llangollen – Corwen Railway

This popular weekend event showcases classic transport including cars, motorcycles, buses, tractors and trains. Glyndyfrdwy Station acts as the main hub, alongside an intensive timetable of steam, diesel and heritage rail services.

Prestatyn Carnival & Annual Funfair

Friday 17 – Tuesday 21 July 2026
📍 Bastion Road Fields
Carnival Day: Saturday 18 July

A colourful summer tradition welcoming around 3,000 visitors each year. The carnival features multiple arenas, competitions and a mix of modern and traditional entertainment across the five‑day event.

Camp VC Festival, near Llangollen

Friday 24 – Sunday 26 July 2026
📍 One Giant Leap

A women‑only adventure festival offering activities such as mountain biking, trials riding, skateboarding, yoga, foraging and creative workshops. Evenings include relaxed entertainment with acoustic music, DJs and disco bingo.

Rhuddlan Volunteer Festival & Picnic in the Park

A community‑focused event celebrating local volunteers and organisations. Bring a picnic, enjoy the open space and find out how to get involved with volunteering opportunities in the area.

Llangollen & Corwen Railway 1960s Weekend

Saturday 1 – Sunday 2 August
📍 Llangollen – Corwen Railway

Step back in time as the railway recreates the atmosphere of the 1960s, with period dress, live music, re‑enactments, vintage vehicles and themed experiences across stations and on board trains.

Family Fun Day, Ffrith Community Park, Prestatyn

Saturday 1 August 2026 | 11.00am – 3.00pm

A relaxed community day for all ages, featuring a creepy crawly show, live music, charity and environmental stalls, children’s activities and a fun dog show.

The Legendary Llangollen Faery Festival

Saturday 8 – Sunday 9 August

Celebrating its 15th anniversary, the Faery Festival offers a magical weekend of live music, free children’s activities and stunning handcrafted creations, making it one of the UK’s biggest fairy‑themed events.

Prestatyn Classic Car Show

Monday 31 August 2026 | 10.00am – 4.30pm
📍 Prestatyn town centre

A free August Bank Holiday favourite, with the high street filled with classic and vintage vehicles alongside local stalls, traders, food and drink.
